| Once you try them, you won't go back! Our eggs come in a rainbow of colors - beige, brown, green, blue, and white. Each carton has an assortment of colors, and the sizes range from large and extra-large, to jumbo. Our happy hens are never held captive in cages or locked in their houses. The only exception is when we have tiny chicks that require heat lamps and need protection from the weather. Even then, we let them outside to explore the outdoors when they have grown some feathers to keep them protected. The hens are free to roam around inside their own large pasture. Their eggs have dark yellow yolks, which is a result of their green, grassy diet. Pesticides are not used anywhere on our farm, so you can be assured that your eggs are the best you can buy. When you purchase eggs from us, we try to keep the process easy and convenient for you. You can purchase at the farmers market, by phone, by email, or even by sending us a text message. FARMERS MARKET - Be sure to visit us any Wednesday, from May 12th through the end of September, at the Lents International Farmers Market at SE 92nd & Foster, in Southeast Portland. The Market is open from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The Lents International Farmers Market is Portland's first international market, featuring fresh produce, international foods, musical entertainment, chef demonstrations, and kids activities. There is plenty of parking available right next to the market. PHONE - Call us at 503-760-4423 to order eggs. We can arrange for you to pick up your eggs at your convenience, directly from Brookside Farm. When you pick up your eggs from the farm, your order will be waiting for you at the gate.
